Introduction to MM2H Programme

Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme is promoted by the Government of Malaysia to offer foreigners along with their spouses and children to reside and or retire in Malaysia.

This programme brings to you a home in a warm tropical climate, burgeoning cities, breathtaking landscapes and beaches with friendly locals that embrace multi-cultures.

Having a second home in Malaysia is enjoyable especially as multi-languages are widely used in this country. This blessed land is free from natural disaster such as earthquakes, typhoons, volcanoes, hurricanes or tornadoes while you have unlimited access to beautiful nature.

As MM2H participants, you will be enjoying all these benefits:

1. Successful participants will be granted a social visit pass with multiple entry visa for a period of 10-year renewable stay.
2. MM2H participants are allowed to invest and actively own a business in Malaysia but subject to existing Government policies, regulations and guidelines.
3. Qualified MM2H participants aged 50 and above with specialized skills and expertise that are required in the critical sectors of the economy, are allowed to work not more than 20 hours per week.
4. MM2H participants can purchase and fully own properties under their name.
5. Tax-free on monies brought into Malaysia and no inheritance tax from the income made in Malaysia but will be subject to Malaysian income tax.
6. Allowed to import a car from country of origin or purchase one in Malaysia exempted from import & excise duties, and sales tax.
7. Education will be granted to children using MM2H visa at any reputable private universities or colleges in Malaysia until they are 21 years old.
